- ➤ Anchorage municipal workers and representatives from the Anchorage Community Development Authority met Tuesday with local residents to explain plans for new ‘micro-units’ designed to help individuals in recovery from addiction. The two-year pilot project will build units at the former Anchorage Police parking lot at Tudor and Elmore Road—each unit measures 8x12 feet with basic kitchen and electric amenities—while a local agency will manage both policy and behavioral health services.
