  • In 1945, a Douglas C-47 crashed in Cathedral Valley when it clipped a mountain, leaving its crew injured and isolated. Maj.   • Alaska is set to add 1,769 manufacturing jobs by 2032—an increase of 14.3% compared to a 6.9% rise in total jobs as the state boosts its production capacity.  Your Alaska Link

  • Anchorage School District's Career Academies face an uncertain future after a federal grant was abruptly defunded, leaving an $8.9 million shortfall over the next three years amid a $70 million deficit.
