Adam Daniel Fleischman pleaded guilty to murdering his wife in 2021 and was sentenced to 45 years in prison — with an additional 20 years suspended — by Anchorage Superior Court; if released, he will serve 10 years on supervised probation.

Anchorage police identified Utuva Alaelua as the man fatally shot in an officer-involved incident after pulling him over for a broken headlight near the 300 block of Bragaw Street in Mountain View.

Anchorage police said the shooting outside the Gaslight Lounge at about 2:50 a.m. left 23-year-old Leroy Manogiamanu dead, with three others injured and a fourth victim later found; the suspect remains at large—officers processed the scene near downtown headquarters.
