- ➤ Thousands of Anchorage residents gathered on L St. today to protest government actions on immigration, public service cuts, and national security—protesters voiced their united call that there would be no kings in America. The peaceful protest coincided with reports of arrests and ICE detentions from out‐of‐state, fueling debates on community safety and fairness—local citizens urged elected officials to address these concerns.
