  • After six years of restoration by the Eldred Rock Lighthouse Preservation Association, Alaska’s oldest original lighthouse will open to the public on May 30. The 1906 landmark on a rocky island in Lynn Canal will host tours and educational events.  Anchorage Daily News
  • Sandy Harper — co-founder of Cyrano’s Off Center Playhouse — has published a coffee table art book that chronicles the theater’s long history and cultural impact in Anchorage.
