COMMUNITY NEWS
- ➤ Anchorage bike riders will attend a bike blessing event later this week to celebrate the start of safe riding season. Organized by local cycling advocates, the event will offer safety tips and blessings to promote community riding habits. Alaska's News Source
- ➤ Volunteer diver Jim Lima cleaned the acrylic windows at the SeaLife Center’s seal habitat on Monday, Apr. 27 — a task that keeps views clear for visitors and supports the center’s mission. Lima, who has completed over 1,200 dives, has volunteered since 2014. Anchorage Daily News
- ➤ Anchorage Chamber of Commerce launched the annual Citywide Cleanup at Westchester Lagoon Saturday with volunteers and local business partners joining in the effort.
