- ➤ Rescuers responded to two calls near Anchorage Glen Alps on Saturday: one group helped a man with a broken leg from an avalanche near the Flattop parking lot, and another rescued a hiker stuck in the snow from sliding further downhill — both actions involved multiple agencies and quick decisions.
