- ➤ Anchorage resident Millie Moore celebrated her 100th birthday on Saturday at the University of Alaska Anchorage’s Gorsuch Commons even though her official birthday is on Monday—she has been a part of the community since 1947. - ➤ Shortly after 9:00 p.m. Friday, Anchorage police responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on Glen Highway near Boniface Pkwy where the injured pedestrian died at the hospital and the driver remained on the scene cooperating with investigators. Alaska's News Source

- ➤ Friends and family of 40-year-old Tony Mac Kronos — missing since March 6 — gathered in Eagle River Town Square Park on Saturday to post flyers as the Anchorage Police Department actively investigates the case and plans a fundraiser to cover search, rescue, and funeral costs. - ➤ Sen. Löki Tobin of Anchorage introduced Senate Bill 93 to boost state funding for early childhood programs for 3- to 5-year-old students by raising per-student funding from half to full amounts.
