- ➤ The 2026 Alaska Forum Conference began Monday at the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage, gathering hundreds to address housing, environmental challenges and Typhoon Halong impacts. - ➤ Anchorage School District’s $601M budget proposal for next school year cuts over 500 staff positions and raises class sizes by four to close a $90M deficit.
